Russ' Restaurant

Tried out a new restaurant for breakfast today. Convenient location, lots of parking. They were very busy when we arrived, and we had to wait about 10-15 minutes for a seat. We were waited on quickly, coffee and water served , order was taken fast. We ordered the French toast and a western omelette. I would say that both were just so so. And they got the order wrong, hashbrowns instead of the American fries that I ordered. Coffee was very good. Servings were on the average size, but the price was good. Lots of people were there, so it seems many people like the food here. We probably wouldn’t go back.

Great restaurant, it was cold the night we went and our group was from MI and MA so we thought it felt amazing! If you can sit outside bc the view was amazing. Watching the sunset and eating good food was the vibe. We didnt know their was a whole beach party going on the other side of the property. It wasnt loud where we were at and didnt see it till we walked outside. Great energy, great gift shop and the Manager came around twice to check in on us. Very friendly but our lovely server was amazing and you can tell she was experienced with the menu. She did say she had been there 2 years and that makes a difference because she cared to stay so she wont be afraid to give suggestions.

Russ’ is an old-school restaurant. It feels like you walk into the 1970s. Great service. Fresh baked goods available for takeout. I find this restaurant charming, and the staff is super friendly. The food is good, but definitely on the greasy side. If you’ve never been to Russ’, you should check it out at least once!

This is the cleanest restaurant I've ever been in. While in Grand Rapids I had to enjoy a breakfast stop, and I chose Russ' Restaurant for that meal. Parking was a Plenty. Once inside I was amazed at how clean this place is! The waitress Terri was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. We placed our order, and waited for about 20 minutes for our food order. Coffee was topped off more than once during the wait for food. Food came out and everything looked great. I had the Eggs Benedict and found the food to be delicious. Everyone in my party enjoyed their meals. I would highly recommend you visit this establishment. I cannot imagine anyone would be unhappy. Food: 5 Stars Employees: 5 Stars Cleanliness: 5 Stars

We went with a group of 8. They have booths with centers that can be removed to make this easier than pulling tables together. Our food was good. Russ' is known for more homestyle dinners. You can find meatloaf and reuben sandwiches. And few restaurants will offer squash and mixed rice as sides. Service was a little slow even for a larger group. About 40 minutes from ordering to being served. Drinks ran dry before food came.

Can't go wrong here! Food was excellent, comfort food that is very tasty at a reasonable price. We had the fish and chips, olive burger with onion rings, and chicken soup with a morning glory muffin. All were delicious.

I'm a huge fan of Russ'. This location has shrunk in size over the past few years. The service was a little bit rough, and our waitress was clearly newer. The food was still good, and the ambiance was right. Give it a try and you won't be disappointed.
